Frequently Asked Questions:
Are all FAKTR live courses now 16 hours?
Yes. In 2020, we introduced the new 16 hour format that includes an additional 4 hours of Dynamic Tape advanced instruction and got such a positive response that we decided that all live FAKTR courses moving forward will be in this 16 hour format. This additional time also allows for the extra steps we are now taking to sanitize surfaces due to COVID-19 concerns.
What new safety measures are in place for COVID-19?
Due to the MASSIVE global impact of COVID-19, we immediately implemented additional expanded sanitization measures for all of our in-person courses that includes temperature checks at the door each day along with mandatory hand-washing, mask wearing and glove wearing. Each attendee completes a self-check prior to attending the class and completes a form acknowledging that they do not have any symptoms and have not tested positive or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19. While the course does involve hands-on participant demonstration, we do our best to provide distance between each pair of participants throughout each live class.
How do I become FAKTR Certified?
In order to become FAKTR Certified, you must attend a live hands-on course and complete the 12hr FAKTR online course and successfully pass the final exam at it's conclusion. You can complete the online course and live course in any order: attend the live and THEN complete the online or vice versa. Both courses MUST be completed and the final exam passed with a score of 70% or higher to attain status as a FAKTR Certified provider.
What do I need to bring to class?
In short, nothing! :) We provide all supplies for class, including low tech rehab products, instruments, cups, floss and all FAKTR products. We only ask that you bring a portable treatment table if you have one (this can vary by location and is not REQUIRED...only preferred if you can bring one).
